Infusion facility
SEE Design provided a full MEP permit drawing package for a cannabis infusion facility. The design required developing 4,000 SF of space for the gummy production and the remaining 4,000 SF of space as a vanilla box. The electrical system was designed to support the facility’s production equipment and personnel occupancy. The gummy production process creates a lot of heat so the HVAC design was very important on this project to maintain climate control.

SEE Design was hired to address permit comments from the city of the existing MEP drawings for a new restaurant space. The previous designer did not include code required systems that would pass permitting. We added required emergency lighting, a grease trap system, structural roof calculations, an updated riser diagram and electrical load calculations.

SEE Design was hired to provide electrical and plumbing design services for the upfit of an existing shell space store front. We took the existing infrastructure and elevated the design to meet the needs of the new ice cream creamery. We provided an updated riser diagram, load calculation, panel schedule, lighting plan and a new plumbing system to support the creamery.

SEE Design was hired to provide MEP design services for the renovation of a residential property. Services included but not limited to redesigning the electrical distribution system, HVAC system in the basement, elevator design, plumbing modifications, lighting design and radiant heating for a snow melt system. We met with the client to go over opportunities in the design that will provide more energy efficient systems. We provided a design narrative to the owner to provide information on the different types of snow melting systems and the advantages of both. We also explored installing a tankless water heater system for more instantaneous hot water.

Renovation Of An Existing Building To Fit The Needs Of A Crypto Mining Facility
SEE Design was hired to provide electrical and mechanical design services for the operation of a crypto mining facility in Boone, NC. We worked closely with the owner to understand the design requirements of the facility to provide a sufficient design. SEE Design developed an electrical distribution system that would support a 10 tank mining operation with several motors, dry coolers and 300 miners. HVAC was crucial for the mining operation. Our mechanical engineer worked closely with operations to better understand the equipment specification and limitations as it relates to HVAC. We were able to provide a robust HVAC system to properly cool the miners during operation.
